If you are a patient or know a patient  in the hospital, (especially if you/they have been admitted through Emergency)please notify the church in order to ensure that your name is on the listas being "United Church". this is important so Rev. Barb and our pastoral care hospital visitors will know to visit you.

PASTORAL CARE COMMITTEE REPORT - 2009

It is important that we keep in touch with members of our Knox Family, when they are unable to participate fully in the activities of the church. Eleven people have volunteered to visit the hospital on a scheduled basis. Seven people are visiting, at least monthly, the many Knox members who now make Rainycrest their home. Thank you to these volunteers. A special thank you goes to Sheila Manty for her years of volunteering.

It would be nice to have more volunteers so that the task is manageable. Training is provided.

There is another aspect that is not being done at the present time. There are shut-ins and others who would like to have a church visitor. Would you consider being the coordinator or a friendly visitor? Please contact Rev. Barb or Rhoda Dickson (274-9139).
