PROPERTY COMMITTEE REPORT – 2009

The carpet was replaced in the lower west part of the front entrance.

The carpets in the church office, sanctuary, chapel and foyer were cleaned and the floors in McMillan Hall and kitchens were stripped, cleaned and waxed during the summer.

The Old Auditorium walls were painted by the Youth Group and volunteers, and Brad Hughes painted the windows.  The Youth Group and adult volunteers painted the Youth Room this fall.  The pool table was moved from the Old Auditorium to the Church Lounge.

The set up and removal of the ramp for the Community Christmas Dinner was graciously done by Robin and Jeff Wright and family and Bert Smeeth and Sid Ward.

Fire extinguishers located in the church should be marked with signs to highlight their location.

There is a leak in the lower roof over the office on the west side that needs attention.

REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES OF KNOX - 2009

The Trustees of Knox met to discuss the year in review.

Insurance coverage is paid until August 2010.  The fire extinguishers and the alarm system have also been checked.

Pat Clysdale-Cornell was instrumental in the creation of a fire plan for Knox.  The plan was reviewed and discussed by the committee.

The Accessibility/Lift Fund was reviewed.  Pat Clysdale Cornell will report on the actions of this committee.

Rentals within Knox were discussed.
